Taner Tunstall enters his 3rd season at Klein Cain High School in 2025, serving as the Defensive Ends Coach. With a total of 6 years of coaching experience, Coach Tunstall brings a strong foundation in defensive line play and player development. Prior to joining Klein Cain, he spent four seasons at Fairfield High School as the Defensive Line Coach, where he helped build a tough, disciplined front. A native of Palestine, Texas, Tunstall graduated from Elkhart High School before continuing his academic and athletic career at Sam Houston State University. He earned his degree in Mathematics in 2019 while playing defensive end for the Bearkats from 2015 to 2019. A big role model for Coach Tunstall was his father who also was a teacher and a coach
